What custom software is and when it's worth it
Custom software is anything built to solve your specific process, rather than adapting the way you work to a generic tool. It isn't always the answer: if an off-the-shelf product covers what you need, the sensible thing is to use it. Custom development is worth it when that process is part of your competitive advantage, when market tools force you to pay for modules you don't use, or when integrating the systems you already have has become the bottleneck.
In practice, the decision is made in the review: I look at what you already have, what it costs to maintain and which part of the problem a build of your own genuinely solves. If the answer is "a template will do", I tell you.

Who owns the code when it's finished?
You do. On completion you receive the full source code, documented and with version control, with no dependency on me to keep operating if you decide not to continue with maintenance.
Do you only work with companies in Málaga?
I work from Málaga and Coín, with in-person meetings possible across the province and remotely for everywhere else. Being close by helps, but it isn't a requirement for working together.
Do you use artificial intelligence to develop?
I use it as a tool to speed up specific tasks, with judgement and reviewing what it produces. It doesn't replace architecture decisions or responsibility for the code I deliver.
