First: do you really need custom development?

• Real references. Projects you can see running, not a list of logos.

Development work can be done perfectly well remotely, and plenty of good projects are done that way. That said, having the supplier nearby brings concrete things: in-person meetings at kick-off and for the important decisions, understanding the business by seeing it, and sorting out questions face to face when needed.
