What happens if you don't take out maintenance

Security breach

Every unupdated dependency, plugin, library or SDK is a known, published vulnerability, with documented exploits. Nobody needs to attack you on purpose: the bots that crawl for websites running outdated versions do it automatically and constantly, and on apps an outdated dependency is a common reason for rejection in Google Play and App Store reviews.

Site down or unusable app

An expiring certificate, an external service that changes its API or a traffic peak nobody monitors can leave your website down for days if there's no one to detect and fix it. On apps, a new version of Android or iOS can break a feature that worked before, or an update can get stuck in review for breaching a policy that changed without notice. Without active monitoring, you find out from a user who couldn't use it, not from an alert.

Non-compliance with the GDPR and the Spanish LSSI-CE

A form that stops encrypting data, an analytics cookie that loads before consent is requested or an outdated privacy policy are real breaches, not formalities. The law doesn't require something serious to happen before it penalises: it requires compliance to be continuous, not a one-off at launch.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a minimum commitment period?

I don't work with forced lock-in. The relationship is formalised in a services contract with a reasonable notice period for cancellation, not with a penalty for cancelling.

Does software maintenance cover only websites or also apps?

It covers both. The hours-per-month model is the same; what changes is the technical work done with those hours: on a website, updates, backups and uptime monitoring; on an app, compatibility with new Android or iOS versions, managing store releases and crash monitoring.

Can I cancel the service at any time?

Yes, respecting the notice period agreed in the contract. The purpose of that notice is to organise the handover of the software (access, documentation, backup status) in an orderly way, not to keep you tied in.

Do unused hours in a month carry over to the next?

The specific hour-carryover policy is set in each client's contract, because it depends on the plan and the expected volume of work. What I can tell you now: you won't be hit with a surprise clause; the terms on unused hours are reviewed with you before signing, not after.

What if one month I need more hours than my plan includes?

It's quoted separately, with a fixed price before starting. Not a single extra minute is billed without you approving it first.

Can I change plan later?

Yes. If your website grows or your support needs change, the plan is adjusted from one month to the next, with no change fee and no additional commitment period.

Shall we talk about which plan fits your website?

A 20-minute call, no obligation, to understand the real state of your website and what level of maintenance it genuinely needs, no more and no less.
