Improve your app: a technical audit before touching code
Tell me what your app does and what's wrong. I review crashes, performance, battery use, architecture and the risk of store rejection, and I tell you what to fix first. Free review.
Signs your app has an underlying problem, not a stray bug
When an app fails repeatedly, the visible bug is almost always the symptom of a technical decision taken early in the project. Fixing the symptom without seeing the cause makes it come back wearing a different face.
- It closes on its own on certain phones or from a certain Android version onwards.
- It's slow to open or freezes while loading data.
- It drains the battery or data for no apparent reason.
- Every new change breaks something that worked before.
- An update has got stuck in Google Play review.
- The previous developer is gone and nobody understands the code.
What the audit reviews
The free review covers a first layer; the full audit goes into the code:
- Stability: crashes in production and their causes, not just their frequency.
- Performance: startup time, UI smoothness, memory and battery use.
- Architecture: layer separation, testability, coupling and technical debt.
- Dependencies and SDKs: outdated versions and risk of store rejection.
- Test coverage on the critical logic.
What you receive
A report with the real state of the app, the risks ranked by impact and a clear recommendation: what can be fixed with tweaks, what needs refactoring and what isn't worth touching. If you want me to handle it, I send you a fixed proposal; if not, the report is useful for any team.

- If the conclusion is that it's worth rebuilding on Kotlin and Clean Architecture: native Android development.
- If what you need is ongoing support and compatibility with new Android versions: software maintenance for published apps.

Preguntas frecuentes
Can you audit an app you didn't build?
Yes, that's the usual case. The audit starts precisely by understanding the real state of code I don't know before recommending anything.
Do you need the source code?
For the initial review, the published app and a description of the problems are enough. The full technical audit does require access to the code.
Android only?
My specialism is Android. If your app is cross-platform (Flutter, React Native) I can review the shared part; for native iOS I'd tell you transparently.
And if the conclusion is that it needs rebuilding?
I tell you clearly and with reasons. Rebuilding isn't always the answer; when it is, it's done in phases so as not to stop the app you already have in production.
Shall we review your app?
Tell me what it does and what's wrong. I'll come back with a real review, no obligation.
